² Support services: [1. JA-EN content translation] The production of Japanese-to-English translations of all types of texts constituting principal products (“Content Texts”) of projects that contribute to the production, dissemination, or recording of discourse pertaining to the practice, theory, or history of architecture, art, or design (“Cultural Projects”); [2. JA-EN business translation] the production of Japanese-to-English translations of all types of texts constituting ancillary or incidental products (“Business Texts”) connected to (a) the planning, production, promotion, or operation of Cultural Projects or (b) the day-to-day professional activities of individuals or organizations whose primary professional focus is to produce creative works and plans within the realms of architecture, art, or design (“Creators”) or individuals or organizations whose primary professional focus is to support the activities of Creators (“Cultivators”); [3. General bilingual project support] Japanese/English bilingual assistance with tasks connected to the planning, production, promotion, or operation of Cultural Projects, other than translation (e.g., editing, transcription, research, liaison interpretation, etc.); [4. EN-JA content translation support] assistance with the production of English-to-Japanese translations of Content Texts of Cultural Projects; and [5. EN-JA business translation support] assistance with the production of English-to-Japanese translations of Business Texts connected to (a) the planning, production, promotion, or operation of Cultural Projects or (b) the day-to-day professional activities of Creators or Cultivators.
